- Promote community-based natural resource management and sustainable environmental practices.

- Facilitate skill development, vocational education, entrepreneurship and self-employment.

- Build the institutional and technical capacities of communities, local organisations and development stakeholders.
- Undertake research, surveys, documentation, monitoring and evaluation to support effective development planning.
- Facilitate collaboration with government departments, financial institutions, development agencies and other stakeholders.
